I am currently a writing and linguistics major at Georgia Southern University, with an emphasis on creative writing. I have taken multiple writing classes: Writing in Argument, English 1101, Honors English 1102, Creative Writing, and Comic Book Writing. I made a 598/600 on the Georgia High School Writing Test, scoring in the 99% percentile of America. I can help with building your paper, forming a thesis, making transitions, maintaining proper tense, addressing the audience, jumping between topics, and narrowing in on stronger arguments. I am very good at formatting sentences, and creating a lively, descriptive paper. I can also do something as little as taking a paper you have already completed, and taking creative freedom with it - simply making it stand out more with additional editing. A difference between my tutoring vs. someone else's? Lets face it, most people hate writing. And for those of you who don't, you might experience at least some form anxiety about "written word." I can always promise not to simply make a correction, or add something without warrant - I can, and always will, explain WHY a sentence is being altered. I can explain WHAT makes a strong thesis, and how to focus in on a topic that your teacher is sure to enjoy!
